ABOUT
In 1984, a group of family and friends gathered as a group to support one another.
Then known as RAMI (Rappahannock Alliance for the Mentally Ill), it began because two individuals saw a need for a mental health support system in our community.
A notice was published in the Free-Lance Star announcing a support group meeting that would be held in a basement room of the former site of Mary Washington Hospital on Fall Hills Avenue in Fredericksburg.
Today, 40 years later, we hold a Connections support group in a room on the ground floor of the current site of Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg.

Because of the efforts of Dagmar Reilly and Judith Greer, all those years ago, we are able to provide resources and support to the community today.
